Rachael is the Co-pastor at Highlands Church in Denver, CO. For twenty-five years, she has served the local church in worship, preaching, small groups and justice ministries. Fifteen of those years have been spent in a shared, collaborative leadership model.

 

Rachael is a certified Spiritual Director and has been coaching leaders since 2020 through her role as a founder of the W/ Collective and coach with Launchpad Partners. She also serves on the board of Inspire Ranch Colorado

As an Enneagram 9, Rachael is a calm and encouraging presence. Her journey of faith started in evangelicalism as a kid. Deconstruction/spiritual crisis hit in the 1999 and she has spent the last 25 years reconstructing a more just and generous version of Christianity alongside a community of faithful and justice-minded people in Denver and all around the country.

 

Rachael is a contemplative who is deeply committed to affirming the dignity of all people. Her theological background has been profoundly shaped by LGBTQ, BIPOC, neurodiverse and differently-abled people from different spiritual backgrounds. She is an Academic Fellow and has served as a co-hort facilitator at the Faith+Justice Network.  She studied music at UNM and UCDenver.
